Townhome Types in North Vaughan
Updated
'Townhome' covers several very different layouts. Here's how to read the terms builders use near Block 41.
Tenure first
A freehold townhome means you own the land and building with no condominium corporation. Some towns are in common-element condominiums with monthly fees. Never assume tenure — confirm it in the agreement.
Common configurations
Dual-front towns face a street on one side and a lane or park on the other, often with rear garages. 3-storey towns stack living space vertically on a narrower lot. Frontage (like 20') describes lot width, not interior size.
- Valley Brooke: dual-front and 3-storey, 1,925–2,383 sq. ft. (Tiffany Park)
- West & Pines: 20' townhomes (Trinity Point)
- UpTown Woodbridge: freehold towns (Fieldgate)
Parking and stairs
Check garage location, driveway length and whether a second car fits. Count the flights of stairs between parking, kitchen and bedrooms — it matters more than total square footage for many families.
